    Pitch Arcade: First Run

    Official Campaign Overview

First Run is not a competition.
It is a global founder practice season.

    No eliminations.
    No brackets.
    No leaderboard dominance.

This system is designed to reward iteration, clarity, and consistency.

    1. Core Model

Pitch Arcade operates as a continuous improvement system.

    What we optimize for:

    • Iteration over one-shot submissions
    • Signal over performance
    • Progress over visibility

    What we remove:

    • Elimination mechanics
    • Scarcity pressure
    • Winner-takes-all outcomes

All participants remain active throughout the season.

    2. Timeline

    April 1 — Soft Launch

    • Submissions open
    • Feedback system active

    April 2 — Livestream

    • Platform Walkthrough
    • Meet the team and Pitch Arcade

    April 3 — POD

    • “Pitch of the Day” begins

    April 6 — GTM Launch

    • Official public rollout
    • All campaigns go live

    April 1 – April 30 — Active Season

    • Rolling submissions (open entry)
    • Iteration loop: Bronze → Silver → Gold
    • Daily + weekly recognition

    May 1 — Editorial Selection

    • Top pitches selected based on:

      • Clarity
      • Iteration quality
      • Signal strength

May 2 — Global Pitch Reveal

    • Top ~10 pitches released
    • Livestream Announcement

    3. Participation Flow

    Entry

    • Open to all participants
    • Submit 1 pitch (Bronze)
    • Receive structured feedback

    Iteration

    • Resubmission is optional but expected
    • Progress is based on improvement

    4. Progression System

    Bronze → Silver → Gold

Progression is based on score + iteration quality.

    • 70+ (Bronze) → Earn another Bronze
    • 80+ (Bronze) → Unlock Silver Coin
    • 85+ (Silver) → Unlock Gold Coin

    No resets.
    No eliminations.
    No limits on resubmissions.

    5. Evaluation Criteria

    We reward:

    • Iteration (resubmissions)
    • Clarity improvement
    • Engagement with feedback
    • Consistent participation
    • Community contribution

    We do NOT reward:

    • One-time submissions
    • Social following
    • Volume without improvement

    6. Recognition Mechanics

    Pitch of the Day

    • Selected daily from active submissions
    • Based on clarity, originality, or iteration quality

    Weekly Recognition

    • Editorial selection
    • Based on overall progression, not single entries

    7. End of Season Output

At the end of First Run:

    • Top pitches are editorially selected
    • IRL + online signal is combined
    • Final outputs are prepared for public release

This is not a final round.
    This is a signal filter.

    8. Positioning

Traditional pitch competitions reward performance under pressure.

    Pitch Arcade rewards:

    • Learning speed
    • Adaptability
    • Clarity of thinking

This system is designed to reflect how real founders improve.

    9. Next Steps

First Run establishes the base layer.

    Future iterations will:

    • Increase signal density
    • Expand exposure for top pitches
    • Introduce downstream opportunities

    Final Note

If your goal is visibility, submit once.

If your goal is improvement, iterate.

    This system rewards the second.

    Build. Refine. Repeat.

@Rifali said in Pitch Arcade v2 coming soon!:

I had exactly the same thought 😁 ("used to reactions ...") and it took me few seconds to change the narrative of my mind and then did click the ^ button.

Also to reply to a certain post like the one above , i can't reply directly, have to post it as seperate comment.

We can quote something to reply directly to it. 😸 but yes, it posts as a new comment in the thread

Making Sense of Your Pitch Feedback

Come here immediately after receiving feedback, before you change anything.
This category is for sense-making, not verdicts.

    Use This Category To

    • Share what surprised you
    • Name where feedback conflicted or didn’t land as expected
    • Explore why different personas reacted differently
    • Surface assumptions the feedback challenged

    Share

    • Short excerpts or summaries of feedback (not full dumps)
    • Your interpretation of what it might mean
    • Where you feel unsure or conflicted

    Don’t Share

    • Your full pitch
    • Defensive justifications
    • Requests for validation
    • “Who’s right?” arguments

    Helpful Framing

    • “The feedback I didn’t expect was…”
    • “Two personas reacted very differently, and I think it’s because…”
    • “This comment keeps bothering me, and I’m not sure why…”
    • “I thought my core message was X, but the feedback suggests Y…”

    How to Respond Here

    • Help clarify, don’t correct
    • Ask questions before offering opinions
    • Point out patterns you’ve seen elsewhere
    • Avoid prescribing solutions too early

Confusion is not failure. Defensiveness is a signal. Take your time here.

    Read first. Post second.

This category sets expectations for how the forum works and why it exists. It is the reference point moderators will link back to when redirecting or clarifying posts.

    What This Forum Is For

    • Reflecting on feedback received on Pitch Arcade
    • Learning how others interpret similar signals
    • Sharing what you changed (and why)
    • Asking specific questions when you’re genuinely stuck
    • Spotting patterns across pitches and feedback over time

What This Forum Is Not For

    • Pitch dumping or deal-seeking
    • “Any thoughts?” or “feedback welcome” posts
    • Self-promotion or audience building
    • Status flexing, posturing, or ego games
    • Drive-by opinions without context

If your goal is visibility, this is not the right place.
If your goal is clarity, you’re in the right place.

    How Pitch Arcade Works (Context)

Pitch Arcade is a learning tool, not a scoreboard.

    Key things to understand:

    • Disagreement between personas is a feature, not a bug
    • Conflicting feedback usually points to framing issues
    • “Harsh” feedback is about the idea, not you
    • Limited pitch length and structured inputs are deliberate, they force prioritisation

    How to Post Well

    Before posting, ask yourself:

    1. What did I learn?
    2. What changed (or didn’t)?
    3. What is the specific question or insight here?

Good posts are concrete, honest, and focused on learning, not performance.

    Platform Questions

Platform questions are welcome if they are:

    • Specific
    • Curious
    • Grounded in actual use

    Examples:

    • “What does Persona X tend to prioritise?”
    • “Why does the system push back on this framing?”
    • “What does ‘strong signal’ mean in this context?”

Avoid feature demands, tool comparisons, or roadmap speculation.
